January 14, 16, The Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA) has received proposed technical criteria from the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), entitled, TIA-168-C, Telecommunications – Telephone Terminal Equipment – Labeling Requirements. TIA is an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited standards developer.

16 Responsible Party Code (RPC) Data Validation Program: Including New Stabilized Maintenance Option. Effective November 2, 2015, the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA) announces that the Responsible Parties may now validate their Responsible Party Code (RPC) data for the 2015 calendar year.

The Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA) reminds suppliers of Telephone Terminal Equipment (TTE) of the obligation to comply with the requirements of Part 68 of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules (47 C.F.R. Part 68)

During its General Council session on April 23, 2015, ACTA in conjunction with TIA Liaisons approved a 6 month implementation period for the newly adopted technical criteria, TIA-968-B-2. All TTE submitted after September 20, 2015 shall comply with the new technical criteria. TTE submitted prior to that time has the option of compliance with the new technical criteria.
