Implementation Date of Newly Adopted of Technical Criteria TIA-968-B-2
April 29, 2015 - During its General Council session on April 23, 2015, ACTA in conjunction with TIA Liaisons approved a 6 month implementation period for the newly adopted technical criteria, TIA-968-B-2. All TTE submitted after September 20, 2015 shall comply with the new technical criteria. TTE submitted prior to that time has the option of compliance with the new technical criteria. February 18, 2015, The Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA) has received proposed technical criteria from the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), entitled, TIA-968-B-2 - Telecommunications Telephone Terminal Equipment Technical Requirements for Connection of Terminal Equipment to the Telephone Network- Addendum 2.

About ACTA
The Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments is an open organization established to: (1) adopt technical criteria and to act as the clearing-house, publishing technical criteria for terminal equipment developed by ANSI-accredited standards development organizations; and (2) establish and maintain a registration database of equipment approved as compliant with the technical criteria. The Administrative Council will not make substantive decisions regarding the development of technical criteria. More...

2015 Responsible Party Code (RPC) Data Validation Program
Effective November 1, 2014, the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA) announces that the Responsible Parties may now validate their RPC data for the 2015 calendar year. The established fee for RPC Data Validation is $125.00. A discounted rate of $95.00 will be in affect from November 1, 2014 through January 31, 2015.
